The Tennis Shoes Adventure Series is an LDS fiction series about the protagonist and his family members being transported back into Book of Mormon and Biblical times. The first book in the series was published in 1989 and the 13th book is expected to be published in the near future. In talking about the series a book reviewer said, “The characters interact with events and people from the Book of Mormon and the New Testament and bring the stories to life in a way that it easy to visualize and understand” (Lightfoot_55).
