2 copies of the Life History of John Lloyd Roberts Sr. On 29 Nov. 1869 at the age of 19 John Lloyd was married to Mary Adeline Ensign. He also became first counselor to Bishop Thomas E. Ricks, Jr. of the Rexburg Ward. On coming to Rexburg, they built a fine new home having brought shingles with them from Oxford for their new home. They also brought a nice herd of cattle, horses, and provisions to last a couple of years. John was advised by President Ricks to build or maintain two homes, one for each wife on account of the laws of government.
