Visual Documentation
Our photograph collections provide a visual documentation of the college and its people. Browse or search below to see our digitized photograph collections. Other collections will become available as they are digitized.
Campus photographs, with their broad sweep of campus life, provide a rich source of campus history. They allow a pictorial glimpse into the lives of students, staff, and faculty, and provide a view of the evolving face of campus.
A majority of the campus images in Special Collections & Archives are provided by official University photographers. Additional images pertaining to campus are gathered from departments and through individual donations, and are kept together based on who created them. Many, but not all, of these images can be found online. Over time, more images will be available online.
Images include traditional photographs, negatives, slides, carte de visite, and other formats.
As additional photograph collections are digitized and made accessible, they will be available for easier access and are avalable to the campus community through the Photography Collections in Equella (requires a login). You can also search using the search field above.
