And I Could Not Deny It
The First Vision
It's been 200 years since Joseph Smith prayed in a secluded grove of trees and God the Father and Jesus Christ appeared to him. Now known as the First Vision, this event would set the stages for the restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ.
Commemorate this event with Special Collections & Archives in our online exhibit, "And I Could Not Deny It." We explore this vision and its affect on the word in five parts, and explore the various accounts to come from this vision.
