The Book of Mormon is a volume of scripture translated by the Prophet Joseph Smith through divine means. It contains the record of a two ancient peoples who traveled from the Levant and surrounding areas to the Americas. One came around the time of the confounding of languages at the tower of Babel, and another from Jerusalem around 600 BC. The book gives an account of these peoples including their dealings with God.

This copy of the Book of Mormon contains the names of previous owners written on the back of the front cover. Due to damage, most likely attributed to water, most of the writing is illegible.
