Title
The English Hexapla (1975)
Description
The English Hexapla ("six-columned") Bible contains the six most important English translations of the New Testament from Greek. The translations are Wycliff's (1380), Tyndale's (1534), Cranmer's (The Great Bible, 1539), the Geneva Bible (1557), the Rheims (1582), and the Authorized or King James Version (1611).

Originally printed in 1841, the Bible contains a detailed history of the English Bible before the text. The Biblical text is structured with the Greek text on the top with the six translations of the text on bottom.

By placing the six translations by each other, a student of the Bible would be able to glean deeper truths from each perspective. Compiling the English Hexapla was an effort to show the power which can come from such diverse perspectives rather than to divide Christendom's canon into "correct" or "incorrect" translations.
