Description
In this pamphlet, the German controversialist and scholar Caspar Schoppe calls for "the Catholic princes to wage war upon the Protestants." Schoppe's passion for Roman Catholicism and against the Protestant movement was evident in his writings and in his service for the Church ("Caspar Schoppe"). This pamphlet represents the ideological and physical struggle between the two religious ideologies during and after the Protestant Reformation.
